A powerful blend of seven herbs used for spiritual cleansing. Good for headaches, anxiety and negative thoughts. This blend is perfect for ceremonies and is known to enhance concentration, enrich meditation, and support lucid dreaming.

Traditionally the Huni Kuin create their snuff blends using either 3, 5 or 7 herbs. Although the specific herbs aren’t a fixed recipe, generally the 3, 5, and 7 combinations create a good balance and frequency, which are considered to amplify the Rappé. This particular blend is a traditional Huni Kuin recipe, using 7 herbs. The herbs used are usually closely guarded secrets, passed down from generation to generation.

This blend has a wonderful energetic frequency. The maker, based in northern Acre, is considered a Rappé master (though he would say he is only a student) within the tribe. He was willing to share some of their secrets, revealing that they work with the following herbs, though they were not prepared to share the full recipe in order to preserve the medicinal strength of the blend:

  • Capemba
  • Cumaru
  • Jatobá
  • Xipão

Capemba ashes are made from a sacred palm tree that has medicinal properties. It is said to create wind, in the way the leaves of a palm tree wave in the breeze. In this way, it expels diseases from the body, bringing spiritual strength and clearing the respiratory system, relieving sinusitis.

Xipão is a specific plant that grows as a parasite on palm trees and has a very particular, beautiful smell. The medicine is used by the Huni Kuin to treat flu, fever, and to relieve breathing problems. Additionally, it has a calming effect, relaxing the nerves and soothing the mind.

Cumaru gives a delicious flavor to the Rappé, with hints of vanilla, creating a dreamy medicine that takes you away on the tones of its perfume. Cumaru acts as a tonic for the heart, relieves asthma symptoms, and is an anti-inflammatory. It helps with respiratory problems and other ailments, just as in the Rappé. The Huni Kuin call this powerful tree Cumã.

Jatobá strengthens the blood and is known for its tonifying and energizing properties, particularly from the bark. It is also used as an antibacterial, anti-fungal, anti-inflammatory, expectorant, and liver tonic.
