This Rappé is blended with the trunk ashes of the wild Cacao Tree (Theobroma Cacao), which grows naturally near riverbanks in the Amazon Jungle. The blend often has a reddish tinge and is made with a combination of native Sabiá and Mói Mapacho.
 
Theobroma cacao is the scientific name of the cacao tree, native to the Amazon basin before spreading throughout the Americas and eventually around the world. The genus name comes from Greek, meaning “food of the gods.” Theobromine, an alkaloid found in cacao, is a vasodilator, diuretic, and heart stimulant.
 
Wild Cacau is a powerful blend that, in the right set and setting, offers a boost of strength, courage, resilience, and endurance. The medicine is grounding, which allows the heart to open.
